E' stimolo ad abbracciare la nostra porzione di passione esteriore o interna, come l'ha abbracciata Lui.
E' luce che fa vedere nel dolore il contenuto di redenzione e di perfezione.
E' incoraggiamento ad andare avanti, nonostante tutto! In fondo c'è sempre la vita, un premio, una gioia. San Bernardo dice:" la gloria del cielo é nascosta dentro le tribolazioni come il fiore nel seme". Foscolo dice: "ogni lacrima, insegna ai mortali una verità".
Un pò romantiche, ma sempre vere le parole scritte da Victor Hugo ai piedi di un Crocifisso:" venite a Lui, voi che piangete tanto- sanno quegli occhi suoi che cosa é il pianto.-
Venite a Lui voi che tanto soffrite- sana quel cuore tutte le ferite.- Venite a Lui voi che passate in fretta.- Egli mai si allontana e sempre aspetta.

It's an incentive to embrace our share of the passion, externally and internally, as He embraced his.
The Passion of Christ is a light that allows us to see in the sorrows of life the meaning of redemption and of perfection.

A little bit more romanitc, but nevertheless true, is what Victor Hugo wrote at the feet of the crucifix, 'Come to Him all of you who weep - The eyes of Jesus Christ knows what it is to cry. Come to Him all of you who suffer greatly - His heart heals all wounds. Come to Him all of you who run from him - He never will distance himself from you and he is always waiting for you."
