I santi delle nostre famiglie. Non c'é nessuno tra di noi che non abbia dei santi nella sua genealogia. Che lo sappia o no. Io festeggio oggi tutti i mie antenati, o i più vicini: questi nonni o genitori, fratelli o sorelle che mi hanno preceduto nel Regno. Non sono il figlio delle loro lacrime, della loro preghiera, del loro amore? La grazia che ricevo oggi, non é forse in risposta all'amore di una donna sconosciuta, che recita il suo rosario la sera di un lungo giorno di lavoro nei campi? Anche questa é la comunione dei Santi. Sarò degno dei santi della mia famiglia?

The saints of our families. Whether we know it or not, there is no one among us who doesn't have saints in their family tree. I'm celebrating today, All Saints Day, all my ancestors, or at least my closest relatives:those grandparents or parents, brothers or sisters who have gone before me into The Kingdom of Heaven. Am I not the child of their tears, of their prayers, of their love?
Are not perhaps the graces that I receive today in answer to the love of an unknown woman who prayed her rosary at the end of a long day of work?
This too is the Communion of Saints. Am I worthy of the Saints in my family?
