Signore Gesù,

ora e sempre sii tu per me

pienezza di vita!

Accetta anche me

come strumento vivo del tuo amore

in favore di altre persone provate dal dolore,

in particolare di altre donne, vedove come me,

con la cui esperienza di vita desidero essere solidale.

Possano anch’esse conoscere,

attraverso il mio impegno spirituale ed umano,

il tuo sguardo amorevole e provvido,

e amarti come tu ci ami.

Lord Jesus,

be the fullness of life for me now and always!

Accept me as a livimg instrument of your love

for others who are enduring pain and suffering;

in particular other women,who are widows like me.

Help me to share my experiences with them.

May they also know

through my spiritual and sisterly effort,

your loving and providential gaze

and love You as You love us.

Maria, la Madre tua e nostra,

insieme alle altre Sante Vedove,

ci ottenga da te ogni grazia,

perché i limiti della nostra attuale condizione

siano trasformati in particolare occasione di grazia.
