Dolore presagio: una nuvola nera all'orizzonte azzurro.
Dolore ammonimento: una mano che tocca sulla spalla e una voce che dice: " Son qui".
Dolore castigo: un piacere o un peccato che ritornano con altro segno e diverso nome.
Dolore che espia: una moneta d'oro che nessuno può pagare al nostro posto.
Dolore che purifica: goccia che scava, acido che rode, fuoco che brucia.
Dolore che eleva: ala per varcare frontiere di fiamma e cieli azzurri e oro.
Ma i dolori che comprendono altri dolori sono braccia aperte a invocare l'amore.
Nino Salvaneschi in his book, "Saper Soffrire" (Know How to Suffer), writes: "Every human being is similar to his own pain and his own joy. However, he or she recognizes him or herself better in pain than in joy."
Pain that is coming: it is a black cloud on the blue horizon.
Pain that admonishes: it is a hand that touches your shoulder and is a voice that says, "I'm here."
Pain that punishes: it is a pleasure or a sin that comes back with another sign or a different name.
Pain that atones for the wrong one has done: it's a gold coin that no one else but you can pay.
Pain that purifies: it is a drop that wears away or acid that eats into defects or faults.
Pain that elevates: suffering can build a wall that blocks the person, however, pain that elevates gives the person wings to cross this painful barrier and frees them.
But a person in pain who embraces the pain of others which might be the same or even greater than theirs is a person who has their arms open wide to invoke love for all.
